For one of my first projects at MTSU, I was given the opportunity to speak with ten different individuals who all played a unique part in bringing the Stephen and Denise Smith Student-Athlete Performance Center to life. The doors to this $66 million investment opened in July 2025 for every single student-athlete on campus, and its impact will be monumental.
Blue Raider Breakdown
Postgame Show:
After each home game for football and both basketball teams, I host a postgame show to talk more about each matchup. I speak with players, coaches, and other sportscasters about the dynamic of how the Blue Raiders played. It's another way to connect the community with each team to better understand the game plan at hand.
Raider Report:
During the 2025 college football season, I have implemented a segment called the "Raider Report" where I breakdown each matchup before the Blue Raiders take the field each week. It allows me to learn to connect with MTSU's style of play, along with each opponent.
True Blue Testimonials:
The idea of sharing the journey/story of MTSU student-athletes has always been the focal point. I want to be able to have a genuine, sit-down conversation to create the space for each Blue Raider to tell their testimony. Every story told dives deeper into what it has meant to wear the blue and white and the opportunity it has provided too.
I aim to create content that conveys a story in the most authentic way possible. The craft of producing multimedia broadcasts involving the coverage of sports is the one thing I am most passionate about.
